Lisa is a Best Selling Fantasy Author that has experienced a love for the arts since childhood. Lisa’s first published work was her story, Santa Claus when she was a small child. Her local newspaper published her story and awakened the writer inside of her.
Growing up in rural Hardin County, Tennessee, Lisa’s developed a passion for books and movies. She also involved herself in school, church, and college plays. While enrolled at the Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas, Lisa had the opportunity to travel to the former Soviet Union. While there, she found it to be a lovely country, and in fact, she fell in love with the nation and its people. On this trip, Lisa was able to visit a Women’s Prison, and a hospital caring for children suffering from the Nuclear Fallout of the Chernobyl disaster. While there she performed skits in both churches and on the streets. Lisa would consider it an honor to travel there again one day.
As an Author, Lisa has published three Romantic Suspense Novels: Justina’s Awakening, Justina’s Love Revealed, and Josie’s Thorn. She has also published the first book of her Dark Fantasy Series, Mystic Mist, Book 1 in the New Breed Series. Lisa also has a couple of free books available.
Lisa is working diligently on another Romantic Suspense as well as her Dark Fantasy series. While working on her stories, Lisa buries herself deep in research to assure the facts are pertinent. She also makes sure facts surrounding the location in her books are as accurate as possible. Lisa enjoys creating make-believe worlds and larger than life Characters. Therefore, look for new, exciting Novels from Lisa in the coming months.
Some of the Authors who have influenced Lisa are J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allan Poe, and Colleen McCullough.
In addition to her writing, Lisa has acquired the new titles of Coordinating Producer and Co-Host of Deadly Reads Radio.
